- Place a booty band across your legs slightly above the knees. Stand with your feet around shoulder width apart and toes pointing slightly outward just behind a barbell. The barbell touches your shins. Squat down and pick up the barbell until you are upright. (You can also start with the barbell on a rack about the height of your hip.)
- Now lower the barbell until it is slightly below your knees while bending the knees only very little. Do not keep them fully locked and your legs straight, but bend a few degrees.
- Keeping your knees in that slightly bent position, push the hips forward to raise the barbell until you are back at the starting position.
