  1. Sit at the edge of a bench and bring a dumbbell up over your head with one arm.
  2. Bend the elbow so the dumbbell is behind your head.
  3. With the elbow close to the ear, raise the dumbbell until the upper arm is full extended.
  4. Lower it back to the starting position.
